Sesame oil is extracted from the seeds of Sesamum indicum.
It has a light yellow colour, neutral odor and a typical toasted flavour.
It is characterized by equal concentrations of monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic acid 40%) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid 40%), furthermore it contains compounds with an antioxidant action.
Sesame oil is particularly appreciated for its antioxidant and hydrating properties.
