  • L'Aromaria's organic Lavandin essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from our organically grown plants.

     

    It has a fresh, sweet, floral scent and has a marked relaxing activity.

     

    Usage Tips:

    • Environmental diffusion: Pour 2-4 drops of essential oil into the aroma diffuser (electric or with candle) alone or in combination with other relaxing essential oils such as lemon, orange, clary sage or geranium
    • Food flavouring: add a few drops of essential oil to the cake mix to have a pleasant lavender flavor and scent.
    • Scented baths: add 2-3 drops of essential oil to the bath water for a relaxing and anti-stress action
    • Body oils: adding a few drops of essential oil to a massage oil, in addition to having a relaxing action, also has a soothing effect.
    • Cutaneous use: on the skin (pure or diluted in vegetable oil) it can help in case of insect bites, boils and sunburn.

  • The Lavandin, also called hybrid lavender, is a hybrid species selected by crossing true lavender and spike lavender. It is a perennial, evergreen shrub, 60 to 150 cm tall with grey-green leaves and long, compact inflorescences.

    The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the fresh flowering tops and has a herbaceous, fresh, slightly camphoraceous and sweet scent.

     

    FOOD USE:

    The essential oil can be used in pastry making for the preparation of chocolate-based cakes, biscuits, mousse or for the preparation of cocktails with a floral aroma.

    USE IN AROMATHERAPY:

    Lavender essential oil has a calming, anxiolytic and sedative action on both humans and animals.

    It is used by inhalation or by environmental diffusion to combat stress, anxiety, insomnia and in case of difficulty concentrating or premenstrual tension.

    It can be used alone or together with other essential oils such as sweet orange and lemon.

    Diffusion also allows the house to be decontaminated from pollutants.

    To promote relaxation, you can add a few drops to the water during your bath or dilute it in vegetable oil for massages.

    Lavender essential oil can be used on the skin (pure or diluted) to treat burns, abrasions, pimples or insect bites,

    It is also useful in case of cramps or muscle contractures.

    -It has an anti-parasitic and insect-repellent action and 2-3 drops can be added to the shampoo in case of fleas.

    - The essential oil can be used in aerosols or fumigations in case of rhinitis and sinusitis and in cold or flu syndrome.
