Eucalyptus citratus hydrosol
Eucalyptus citratus hydrosol has a herbaceous and pungent scent, its aroma is reminiscent of classic insect repellents even though these often have very little that is natural!
MAIN USES
- In environmental diffusion it can be used for its acaricide and repellent action for unwanted insects and animals.
- It can be used to combat stress and sleep disorders.
Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small quantity of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.
