Organic Thyme Hydrosol
Natural thyme hydrosol has an intense and herbaceous scent.
It is obtained by steam distillation from plants grown in Italy using organic methods and manual harvesting.
It has antibacterial, antifungal and astringent properties; useful for oral hygiene and as a tonic for oily skin. As a food flavouring, it pairs well with meats and vegetables.
Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small quantity of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.

Food flavourings: added to herbal teas or other drinks, to flavor sweet or savory dishes, taken orally diluted in water.
Cosmetics: facial sprays, skin tonics, added to shampoos and creams.
