Fennel essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of leaves and flowers hand picked in our farm in Orvieto.
Its scent is fresh, fruity and clean, it has aniseed and liquorice hints.
Usage Tips:
- Environmental diffusion: Pour 4-6 drops of essential oil into the aroma diffuser (electric or with candle) alone or in combination with other essential oils, it combines well with geranium, rosemary and citrus essential oils. It has properties calming and relaxing and helps to cover unpleasant odors.
- Food flavouring:Add 1-2 drops of essential oil to a vegetable oil, it is particularly suitable for flavoring vegetables, sauces and legumes.
- Internal use: Fennel essential oil, appropriately diluted in a vegetable oil, is indicated in case of digestive disorders, nausea and can help stop hiccups.
The use of fennel essential oil is reserved for adults, it is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
