The natural essential oil of Petitgrain is obtained by steam distillation of bergamot leaves and small fruits.
It has a herbaceous and floral scent and pairs well with lavender, geranium and all citrus essential oils.
Usage Tips:
- Environmental spread:Pour 2-4 drops of essential oil into the aroma diffuser (electric or with candle) alone or in combination with other relaxing essential oils such as lemon, orange, clary sage or geranium, it has a calming action.
- Scented baths: add 2-3 drops of essential oil to the bath water for a relaxing and anti-stress action
- Body oils: adding a few drops of essential oil to a massage oil can be useful in case of muscle contractures, rheumatism or, in general, to reduce pain.
- Cutaneous use: on the skin (diluted in vegetable oil) can help in case of acneic skin and dermatitis; a few drops of essential oil in addition to the shampoo can offer valid help in case of greasy hair.
