Organic Clary Sage Essential Oil 5 ml
L'Aromaria's natural Clary Sage essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from organic plants grown and processed on our farm in Umbria.
It has a sweet, floral, slightly tobacco-like and woody scent on the finish.
Usage Tips:
- Environmental diffusion:Pour 2-4 drops of essential oil into the aroma diffuser (electric or with candle) alone or in combination with other relaxing essential oils such as lavender. It has a relaxing action and instills a feeling of serenity.
- Food flavouring: add a few drops of essential oil to the cake mix for a pleasant floral flavor and scent.
- Scented baths: add 2-3 drops of essential oil to the bath water for a relaxing and anti-stress action
- Body oils: adding a few drops of essential oil to a massage oil can be a valid help in case of menstrual tension and menopause.
- Cutaneous use: on the skin (diluted in vegetable oil) can help in case of acneic or oily skin.

Clary sage is a perennial plant that can reach 1.60 m in height when flowering. It is characterized by large leaves, with an oval shape and a velvety consistency; the flowers are large and vary in color between blue and pink. During the balsamic period the upper part of the plant is covered with a thin layer of resin which gives off a characteristic scent.
The best quality essential oils are obtained from the distillation of only the flowers.
The essential oil has a floral, herbaceous scent with a tobacco aftertaste.
