Lemongrass essential oil (Cymbopogon citratus) is obtained by steam distillation of fresh leaves from plants grown in our organic crops in Sicily.
It has a fresh, citrate and herbaceous fragrance.
Usage tips:
- Environmental diffusion: pour 5-10 drops of essential oil into the aroma diffuser (electric or with candle), it has an insect repellent action; in combination with other essential oils such as lemon and lavender can promote relaxation.
- Scented baths: add 3-5 drops of essential oil to the bath water for a refreshing and anti-stress
- Body oils: add a few drops of essential oil to a massage oil, it can be useful to reduce joint and muscle pain.
- Food use: can be used to flavor some salty dishes or sauces (in this case I recommend diluting a couple of drops of essential oil in a tablespoon of vegetable oil and at the end).
