Organic Rosemary Hydrosol

Natural rosemary hydrosol has an intense and herbaceous scent.

It is obtained by steam distillation from plants grown in Italy using organic methods and manual harvesting.

• FOOD USE:It can be used as a flavoring to flavor meat or vegetable dishes.
• COSMETIC USE:it is particularly suitable for oily or mature skin  thanks to its purifying and antioxidant action. It can be a valid help in case of dandruff, in this case we recommend applying the hydrolat before shampooing.
• ENVIRONMENTAL DIFFUSION: the scent of rosemary promotes concentration and stimulates learning.

 

Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small quantity of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.

They can be used as

Food flavourings: added to herbal teas or other drinks, to flavor sweet or savory dishes, taken orally diluted in water.

Cosmetics: facial sprays, skin tonics, added to shampoos and creams.

Home fragrances: fragrance of environments and fabrics.
