Organic Peppermint Hydrosol

Natural peppermint hydrosol has a balsamic and fresh scent. 

MAIN USES

• Diluted in water it can be a valid aid in case of nausea, abdominal swelling or other digestive problems.
• It can be used for oral hygiene and in case of respiratory tract infections,
• Useful for calming coughs
• Its fresh and pleasant aroma also allows it to be used as a food flavoring and for cocktails.

* Its use is reserved for adults and children over the age of 7.

Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small quantity of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.

They can be used as

Food flavourings: added to herbal teas or other drinks, to flavor sweet or savory dishes, taken orally diluted in water.

Cosmetics: facial sprays, skin tonics, added to shampoos and creams.

Home fragrances: fragrance of environments and fabrics.
