  • L'Aromaria Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)  natural essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from organic plants grown and processed on our farm in Umbria.

     

    It has a fresh, herbaceous, resinous scent and has a marked energizing activity.

     

    Usage Tips:

    • Environmental spread:Pour 2-4 drops of essential oil into the aroma diffuser (electric or with candle) alone or in combination with other essential oils such as lavender. Stimulates concentration and learning.
    • Food flavouring: add a few drops of essential oil to vegetable oil and season the desired dishes.
    • Scented baths:Add 2-3 drops of essential oil to the bath water for a stimulating action.
    • Body oils: adding a few drops of essential oil to a massage oil can be a valid help in stimulating circulation and combating cellulite
    • Anti-dandruff: dilute 2-3 drops of essential oil in vegetable oil (almond or jojoba) and massage the scalp, then proceed with shampoo.

  • Rosemary is an evergreen bushy shrub belonging to the Lamiaceae family.

    The essential oil is obtained by distillation of the flowering tops and has a fresh, herbaceous, balsamic-woody odor.

    Rosemary essential oil is used in both the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors.

    FOOD USES:

    The essential oil can be used as a food flavoring on all Mediterranean cuisine dishes. It can be added to preserves in oil, to prepare sauces to accompany meat or fish dishes.

    USES IN AROMATHERAPY:

    Rosemary essential oil acts as a mental stimulant; it can help recover energy in case of fatigue and stimulate concentration during study or mental work. For this purpose it can be used in environmental diffusion, in massage oil or for dry stimulation.

    - In cosmetics it can be used to reduce dandruff: dilute a few drops in vegetable oil and massage the scalp, after 10 minutes proceed with washing.

    It can be used to reduce hair loss, a few drops of essential oil are added to the shampoo to stimulate blood circulation.

    -It turns out to be useful for fighting cellulite: it must be added to the base oil (jojoba or almond) at a concentration of 2-3%.

    -To improve circulation to the extremities of the body, you can add a few drops of oil to the warm water used for the foot bath.

    - Rosemary essential oil has discrete antibacterial and antifungal properties.

    It can be useful to prevent respiratory infections or in case of colds, catarrh, ear infections, sinusitis.

    You can apply 2-3 drops on a tissue and inhale, you can dilute 2-3 drops in a gel, oil or cream and massage on the chest or diffuse into the environment.
