Organic wild carrot hydrosol

Wild carrot has a very particular scent, fresh, sweet, earthy and woody, it is widely used in perfumery.

• Carrot hydrosol is particularly suitable as a skin tonic, it can be useful in case of inflammation, skin blemishes and wrinkles. We recommend combining it with wild carrot essential oil, so as to alternate them in your daily beauty routine. 
• It can also be used as a food flavouring, to flavor herbal teas or savory dishes.

Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small quantity of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.

They can be used as

Food flavourings: added to herbal teas or other drinks, to flavor sweet or savory dishes, taken orally diluted in water.

Cosmetics: facial sprays, skin tonics, added to shampoos and creams.

Home fragrances: fragrance of environments and fabrics.
