Organic orange blossom hydrosol

The natural orange blossom hydrosol has a delicate, sweet and floral scent.

It is obtained by steam distillation of only hand-picked orange flowers.

It has relaxing and anti-stress properties; soothing, anti-inflammatory, local anesthetic for skin applications. Excellent as a facial toner or aftershave thanks to its astringent action.

It can be used for food, in cake mixes or in herbal teas.

Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small quantity of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.

They can be used as

Food flavourings: added to herbal teas or other drinks, to flavor sweet or savory dishes, taken orally diluted in water.

Cosmetics: facial sprays, skin tonics, added to shampoos and creams.

Home fragrances: fragrance of environments and fabrics.
