Organic True Lavender hydrosol

True lavender natural hydrosol has a delicate, sweet and floral scent.

It is obtained by steam distillation of only the flowers, from plants grown in Italy using organic methods and manual harvesting.

It can be used as:

• Home fragrance, to be added to the aroma diffuser tray or to perfume home environments and fabrics, it has relaxing and anti-stress properties. Particularly suitable for relaxing children as it is much more delicate than essential oil (sprayed on fabrics or added to bath time).
• For cutaneous use,It has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, excellent as a facial tonic or aftershave. It can be useful in case of insect bites, irritations, psoriasis, oily or mature skin.
• Food use: to add to herbal teas for its relaxing action.

Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small quantity of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.

They can be used as

Food flavourings: added to herbal teas or other drinks, to flavor sweet or savory dishes, taken orally diluted in water.

Cosmetics: facial sprays, skin tonics, added to shampoos and creams.

Home fragrances: fragrance of environments and fabrics.
