Organic damask rose hydrosol
Rose hydrosol or water has a delicate, rounded, sweet and floral scent.
It is obtained by steam distillation of flowers, grown and processed in our company, in Umbria.
It has anti-inflammatory, calming and relaxing properties and promotes skin regeneration.
Usage tips
- Food: to flavor desserts, fruit salads and creams, added to herbal teas to help you fall asleep or in case of digestive difficulties.
- Cosmetic: excellent as a tonic for sensitive, oily and mature skin, to calm skin inflammation, acne, hypersensitivity and sunstroke.
- Environmental diffusion: to be added to the diffuser tray or to perfume fabrics and home environments, it has a calming action, fights stress and anxiety.
Hydrosols, or aromatic waters, are obtained, together with essential oils, by steam distillation. They contain a small amount of essential oil together with the water-soluble substances extracted from the plant during distillation; being much less concentrated than essential oils, they are safer to use.

Food flavourings: added to herbal teas or other drinks, to flavor sweet or savory dishes, taken orally diluted in water.
Cosmetics: facial sprays, skin tonics, added to shampoos and creams.
Home fragrances: fragrance for environments and fabrics.
